Please note that Less-Than-Container-Loads (LCL), destined for stripping at public bonded warehouses, will continue to be managed directly within Asycuda World, until further advised.
-
The creation of Electronic Delivery Orders (EDO)
Shipping Agents and Freight-Forwarders will be able to create Electronic Delivery Orders (EDOs).
In light of the above, once the respective organizations have been trained and provided with access to the PCS, they are now
required to commence usage of same.

The Port Community System (PCS) Operator wishes to advise that the Import Phase (Maritime -Kingston) for LCL & PCS Gate Out Authorization of the PCS project will be launched effective May 21, 2018.
During this phase, the PCS will manage:
-
The submission of LCL Breakdown Manifests to the Jamaica Customs Agency via the PCS:
The importation of Less-Than Container Loads (LCL), destined for stripping at public bonded warehouses. This pertains to containers on bills of lading that are being de-grouped (as a breakdown manifest) from a master bill of lading for separate clearance of break-bulk cargo by several consignees.
-
The creation of the PCS Gate Out Authorization: It is important to note that as we move towards a more secure, integrated and paperless environment, the ability for Cargo (FCL, LCL and RoRo Motor Vehicles), to be released from the Terminals (KWL & KFTL) within Kingston, will require the PCS Gate Out Authorization effective May 21, 2018.
The PCS Gate Out Authorization requires the following:
Full Container Loads
Motor Vehicles
Less-than Container Loads
In light of the above, once the respective organizations have been trained and provided with access to the PCS, they are now required to commence usage of same. For clarifications, please feel free to contact the PCS Operator.
